to put full tube headers on a 1986 monte...g body of course...lift the motor?

when i had my 80 i had to life the motor just enough to get them to clear.

But i have helped a frend and his slid in. so it would depend on what your trying to go around.

yup you have to lift the motor and havin'' a helping hand don''t hurt

the passenger side went on pretty easy with removing the motor mount and the starter..now the driver side is a bitch...so tight...do i have to remove the steering rod?

are you going from the top or the bottom on them? LOL

after lifting the motor i never removed the starter on mine.

the Drivers  side you can sometimes lift it high enough to clear other wise start taking the rag gear apart
