PLEASE HELP MY BABY!

I have a 99 Monte z34 3.8.  Both of my cooling fans have stopped working.  We have tried everything from checking the relays to changing out the temp sensor.  We were able to check the aux moter and it ran fine.  I''ve also replaced the thermostat but I''m running out of money to throw at it and the motor can''t take much more abuse.  Any suggestions would be apperciated.

Thanks

i''''m thinking a PCM problem.  i''''m almost sure the PCM is what  controsl that... maybe it needs reset.  I think you can do that by unhooking your battery for 30 mins.  wiat for someone else to post before you do this though... i''ve never heard of this problem until now.

How did you check the relays? What temp thermostat did you put in the car? If you put a 180* tstat in your fans will not come on until you have a PCM relearn done so the fans will come on at 180*. They are programmed to come on at 195* so if your car doesn''t reach that temp, then your fans will not come on. My fans on my ''99 Z34 rarely come on unless my car sits and idles for about 30 mins. I would bet if your fan motors are not bad, then your car isn''t reaching 195*.

We checked the relays by checking the ohms on one side and by completing the circut All relays made a clicking sound as we were told they should.  We pulled out the main fan tonight and the fan motor there is good.  As far as the thermostat and needing to reset the pcm...we but a 195 thermostat in the car so there was no change there.  So now like I said all relays are good, we replaced the thermostat, and the coolent temp sensor, and tested both of the fan motors seperatly.  I have no clue what else it might be except maybe that the fans don''''t kick on because of an exhaust tekp sensor?????  Thanks for any new ideas in advance.

PS trust me  the car is well over 195  if it wasn''t severly overheating then I wouldn''t be worried that my baby was going to blow up from the heat!
