Battery Light/Electrical Issue - 7/7/2008 10:17:26 PM

I just recently traded in my 99 Z34 on a 04 intimidator with 40k miles. A few days after I left the dealer I was driving down the road and the battery light came on for a split second and the gauges all reset. I took it back in and they said they couldn''t find anything wrong with it because the light wouldn''t come back on, so they couldn''t scan it. They did however reprogram the PCM. This worked for a few days but tonight while driving home from work it did it again. I''ve had the car for about a month and its happened about 6 times. Has anyone else had this problem or know what is the possible cause? Thanks in advance

It sounds like it could be a short. Check your battery terminals for corrosion and make sure they''re tight.
